Design Technology
My name is Sandra Cummings. I'm the subject lead for design and technology. We use the Kapow scheme of work to organise and plan our learning through our mixed age classes.

Class 3 (Years 4, 5 and 6) have been consolidating their scientific learning about electricity and using this to design and make their own torches. They have used plastic water bottles and tin foil to create the body of their torch and are using a simple electrical circuit to create the light source. Great work Class 3!
Class 2 (Years 2 and 3) have been considering pneumatics and have been designing and making toys to entertain our youngest Team Waberthwaite members in Class 1!
