Nursery

Children can enter nursery provision at Waberthwaite School as a 'Rising 3' (that is they may start nursery at the beginning of the term in which they will turn 3). If your child will be turning 3 at any point over the coming 12 months and you wish to use our nursery provision, please make contact with the school to ensure we can meet your needs as demand for our provision is high and there is a waiting list for some sessions. Please see the nursery admissions policy above for more information.

You are able to use all or apart of your 15 or 30 hours of childcare entitlement with us.

Please consult the Government's Childcare Choices website, as detailed below, to review your childcare support options.

Please note children only receive funding the term after they turn 3 (e.g. if your child is 3 in the Autumn term, they do not receive funded hours until the start of the Spring term; if they turn 3 in the Spring term, they do not receive funding until the start of the Summer term; if they turn 3 in the Summer term, they do not receive funding until the beginning of the following Autumn term).

As a child can start at Waberthwaite CE School as a 'Rising 3' (described above), but do not receive funding until the term after they turn 3, there is obviously a charge for attending nursery funding begins.
